Oh, Friday! Who wants a treat?
Yummy after-school snack/treat or delicious weekend refreshment that no one would refuse. Why should they? Made with pure, honest ingredients without added sugar or food additives. Summer is upon us. It is handy to have fruit treats in the freezer.
To make this delicious pineapple frozen yoghurt you will need:
1 small pineapple, ripe, nice and yellow
1 medium banana, ripe, yellow skin with small brown spots
2 or 3 heaped tbsp coconut yoghurt*
1. Clean the pineapple, cut out the core and dice the flesh. Peel the banana, cut into chunks.
2. Put the ingredients into a blender and blend into a smooth puree.
3. Pour the smoothie into silicon moulds and place the tray into the freezer, after an hour or so insert a wooden ice cream stick into each. Freezer for 3 to 4 hours or overnight. Enjoy!
