Ham and asparagus spears (GAPS, AIP)

Quick snack, tasty appetizer - two ingredients

Spring is surely here because asparagus is back on the menu. This isn't really a recipe just a quick and tasty idea for a speedy snack.

You will need:
Parma ham (proscuitto di Parma) slices (just pork and salt, nothing else)
fresh, green asparagus (3 spears per ham)

1. Rinse the asparagus, cut the bottom end off and using a vegetable peeler peel the lower part to remove any tough skin.
2. Wrap the asparagus spears by 3 in a slice of Parma ham. Arrange the wraps on a baking tray and put the tray in a preheated oven and roast at 175 C for about 15 to 20 mins.
3. Serve hot. Use a dip if you fancy (avocado & lime for example). Share and enjoy!
