Well, hello Summer!
Summer is finally back! The day is sunny and warm (what a great start of the week!) and fruits taste better cooled today so I made some iced smoothie from fresh and frozen fruits with a touch of refreshing lime and mint.
I keep frozen bananas in my freezer all the time, strawberries still seem to be in season around here, and the fresh mint is from my balcony garden.
You will need (serves 2 to 3):
2 ripe bananas, frozen (brown spotted bananas were peeled and sliced)
225 g fresh strawberries
a small handful of fresh mint leaves
1/2 lime juice
1. Put all the ingredients in a blender and pulse until everything is well incorporated.
2. Pour into glass cups, decorate with halved strawberries and fresh mint leaves. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
